Walmart employees will get a pay raise

NORTHWOODS - Nearly half a million Walmart employees will get a pay raise. The company has faced criticism over the years for paying low wages.

Full and part-time employees will start to see this raise in April.

We learned last week the store will now pay its starting employees $9 an hour. This raise is $1.75 above minimum wage.
