Wisconsin media, cities compromise on records

MADISON - Wisconsin media advocates and municipal leaders have brokered a compromise to resolve a fight over redactions in public records.

Police departments have been redacting personal information such as names, addresses and gender from reports. That has caused problems for reporters and crime victims.
