Wolf population goes up in Wisconsin

WAUSAU - Even after hunters killed 150 wolves in Wisconsin last year, the population still went up.

The number of wolves in the state has gone up by about 13 percent in the past year.

Dave MacFarland with the Department of Natural Resources estimated there's 746 gray wolves in the state.
