VILAS COUNTY - More than 800 people already downloaded the Map It Vilas County iPhone app. Tourism leaders hope that number will increase as Memorial Day Weekend approaches.
They've added a GPS feature they hope will make more people feel comfortable using the county's trails. There are more than 50 multi-seasonal trails in Vilas County.
Vilas County Tourism & Publicity launched the mobile app on the iTunes Store last summer.
