TOMAHAWK - After two years in the making, renovations at Our Sister's House in Tomahawk will soon be finished.
Volunteers applied for grants to help pay for the needed renovations, and they were happy to get some good news a few weeks ago.
"One day she looked out her window and said, hey I live next to the railroads, you know CN Railroad. She said why not try to apply there," said Our Sister's House President Bernice Duchac. "So she wrote up a grant request, sent it in, and low and behold, we got the grant."
