Former volunteer coach in court

MERRILL - Police think 23-year-old Colton Chase had sexual relations with a 16-year-old Tomahawk High School female student three times.

Chase was a volunteer coach for the Tomahawk track team. He is now charged with three felonies.

Chase lost his argument for a reduced cash bond in Lincoln County Court on Monday. The defense argued for the $2,500 cash bond to be lowered.
