Two-car crash on Highway 8

RHINELANDER - A car crash shut down one lane of traffic outside of Rhinelander Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 1 p.m. Two cars crashed on Highway 8 near the intersection of North Rifle Road.

The Crescent Fire Department, Oneida County Sheriff's Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol helped out. Traffic resumed to normal by 1:30 p.m.
