Wis. committee passes student privacy bill

MADISON - The Wisconsin Assembly's Education Committee has passed a bill designed to protect student data. The Wednesday 6-5 vote came on a measure that grew out of a task force that examined the effect of Common Core academic standards in public schools. Full story: WJFW
