Man claims toddler started sexual assault

APPLETON - An Appleton man who claimed his 3-year-old daughter initiated sexual contact will likely spend the next 12 years behind bars.

Outagamie County prosecutors recommended a stronger sentence of 25 years in prison for the 39-year-old man. Assistant District Attorney Peter Hahn says the man blames the mother of the child and even the victim and needs to be ``locked up for a long time.''
