MADISON - A judge has provided some clarification on his order that halted an investigation of Gov. Scott Walker and conservative groups.
This month U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa granted a preliminary injunction halting the John Doe probe, saying it violated free speech rights. The investigation focused on campaign fundraising and spending during 2011 and 2012 recall elections.
