German man died in Lake Superior crash

DULUTH MN - Authorities in northeastern Minnesota say the pilot who died when his plane crashed into Lake Superior last weekend was from Germany.

The St. Louis County sheriff's office identifies the man as 47-year-old Alexander Georg Obersteg of Steinfeld, Germany.
