DNR: Need more information on off-road project, Department hasn't indicated

FOREST COUNTY - Leaders of a proposed off-road park in Forest County believe it could help improve the area's economy.

The park would rely heavily on state-funded land grants to buy land for the park, but a letter from the DNR Deputy Secretary Matt Moroney to Forest County Board Chairman Paul Millan communicates that the funds aren't a guarantee and the DNR hasn't indicated that the project is "approvable" right now.
