Group hopes to find common ground on timber harvest

APPLETON - Environmental activists want to work with industry to resolve a longtime dispute over timber management in Wisconsin's Northwoods.

The Northeast Wisconsin Forest Improvement Collaborative wants to reach a compromise regarding 1.5 million acres of forest.
