Where the candidates stand; 85th and 86th Assembly seats covering Wausau and surrounding area

WAUSAU - A few hundred votes could decide who represents voters from the 85th Assembly seat. The district covers parts of Marathon and Shawano County. Rep. Mandy Wright (D-Wausau) won the 2012 race by a little more than one percent.

This year Republican David Heaton will try to take the seat.

The two debated Wednesday in Wausau alongside Rep. John Spiros and Democrat Nancy Stencil.
