Native American deer night hunt ban reversed in federal appeals court

CHICAGO - The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that Wisconsin could no longer ban Native Americans from hunting deer at night in the ceded territory of Northern Wisconsin.

Courts banned Native Americans from the night hunt in 1991 for safety reasons.
