Local organizations receive community grant to promote tourism

RHINELANDER - Twelve Rhinelander organizations will get money to attract more tourism to the area.

The Rhinelander Tourism marketing committee awarded $6,500 to the non-profit organizations. The Community Grant Program is funded by room tax from Rhinelander hotels.

They give grants twice a year -- in summer and fall.
