State assembly speaker supports more autonomy for UW System

MADISON - Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says he supports giving the University of Wisconsin System more flexibility.

Republican Gov. Scott Walker has been talking about giving the system more autonomy in his upcoming state budget proposal. No further details have emerged; Walker is expected to unveil the budget plan Feb. 3.
